New to Seaward Action Charters as of July 2008 is a 25' Ranger center console
powered by twin 200HP Mercury outboards. The new boat sports 2 depth
finders, 2 GPS units, 2 VHFs, Furuno radar, 5 fish boxes, a live well,
transom door, and 2 bait sinks. This new boat will allow us to run trips for
3-6 people out to the Gulf Stream! With 6 people and full fuel and equipment
she will get us out to the grounds in no time cruising at 35MPH, with a top
speed of over 50MPH! She should be ready for fishing by August 2008.
Our 21' Contender is powered by a 200HP Yamaha and can run us out to the fishing grounds at up to 45MPH! Safety Equipment and Electronics: - All of the Coast Guard required equipment such as life jackets, life ring, horn, and flares. In addition to that we have an EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) which when activated alerts rescue teams to our position within 30 feet. The Contender is also equipped with 2 VHF radios, AM/FM/iPod/XM Stereo, and Lowrance GPS/Sonar. From the Contender website: She’s small,
