Seaward Action Charters offers in addition to the boats listed on our site a wide variety of local reationships. If Capt. Mark can not fit you in Seaward Action's schedule or doesn't think he can provide you with the experience you are looking to have, we will try our hardest to get you on a boat with another equally capable captain. We are available on our boats or yours and can take first timers to show them the ropes as well as helping experienced anglers find out how great NC fishing really can be. We use high quality boats, the best available tackle, and the most up to date information to put you on the fish.
United States Coast Guard licensed Captain Mark Gorges is a born and raised Eastern North Carolina fisherman with a family history of commercial fishing in North Carolina going back to the early 1700s. USCG licensed since age 18, Capt. Mark has fished with (and brought back safely!) hundreds of happy clients whether they were targeting spanish mackerel on the beach with their kids or chasing blue marlin in the Gulf Stream.

A Wrightsville Beach Native, Matt Ginther has fished and mated with Seaward Action for over five years and will be acting as one of Seaward Action's captains and mates in the 2011 season.

Though not a captain yet, Kevin spends every available moment of his time either flipping a jig at local ponds looking for bass or chasing redfish in his kayak.
